ok this thing is actually so fun to use
It's compact enough to store easily but feels solid when it's sitting on the counter. The shaving mechanism is smooth and doesn't take a ton of effort to turn. Cleaned up fast after we used it, which I always appreciate.
it's just fun. shaved ice at home whenever we want it, no complaints.
I was worried it wouldn't hold enough ice per serving since I've bought small machines before that barely fill a cup. But the 16oz capacity is genuinely generous, fills the cone nicely without having to crank it twice.
Simple, effective, and the cones come out looking just like the ones from the fair. Can't ask for much more than that.

The 16oz capacity is solid for a home machine. Each cone comes out full and well packed without having to do multiple rounds. Great for making a few at a time for the kids without it turning into a whole production.
The cone holder is the part I didn't know I needed until I used it. It keeps the cone perfectly upright while the ice shaves down into it, so you're not holding everything together with one hand while trying to crank with the other. Really well thought out.
Solid little machine. Does the job without any fuss and the kids love being involved in making their own cones.
