GREAT LITTLE MACHINE 🍦!!
the pint size is actually perfect for trying new flavors without committing to a huge batch. i'll do a small test run of something like lavender honey and if it's good i'll make it again. way less waste than my old full-quart machine.
I was a little skeptical about whether the 20 oz capacity would actually be enough for my family, but it honestly churns out a solid amount each time. We usually do two back to back runs on weekends and that covers everyone easily.
My last ice cream maker was a nightmare to clean. The paddle got stuck, the bowl had all these little crevices that never came fully clean. This one is so much simpler to take apart and rinse out. My friend had the same complaint about her old machine and I told her to just get this one. She texted me last week saying she's already made three batches.
One thing I noticed is that the preset programs take a lot of the guesswork out of timing. I used to stand over my old maker wondering if it was done yet. Now I just pick the program and it handles it. The sherbet setting in particular gives a really nice light finish.
Very pleased with this. The ice cream it produces has a lovely smooth texture and the programs make it simple even for someone like me who isn't very experienced with these kinds of machines. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone who enjoys homemade desserts.

What I didn't expect was how consistent the texture comes out. Every single batch from the pint bowl has been smooth with no big ice crystals. I've made straight vanilla, a peanut butter swirl, and a mango sorbet and they all came out creamy and scoopable.
The 10 preset programs are actually really useful once you figure out which one does what. There's a noticeable difference between the sorbet setting and the gelato setting in terms of how the machine churns. I've been experimenting and the results are genuinely different depending on which program I pick.
