The stainless steel means I can just wipe it down or rinse it off and it stays looking clean. No weird smells, no discoloration, nothing getting trapped in little plastic ridges. Much easier to keep hygienic.

The expandable sides are what sold me and they actually work really well in practice. You can stretch it wider when you have a big load of dishes and pull it back in when you just need space for a few mugs and bowls. Really thoughtful design.
What I noticed right away is how the water actually drains off the rack and down into the sink instead of pooling underneath like my old one did. Keeps the counter dry which I really appreciate.
