Triple Lens Recording Hardware

This dash camera system uses three separate camera modules to record front, cabin, and rear viewpoints simultaneously. The front lens provides a 170 degree field of view, while the interior and rear lenses capture 150 degrees each. The housing is constructed from ABS with integrated glass lens elements and CMOS sensors. Video is recorded at 1080P resolution at 30 FPS and stored in MP4 format on a microSD card.

Continuous Video Recording Operation

The unit operates through a 12V vehicle power outlet using a wired connection. Loop recording divides footage into selectable 1 or 3 minute segments and overwrites the oldest files when storage capacity is reached. A built in G-sensor monitors motion and locks specific files during sudden movement events. Infrared LEDs support cabin recording in low light conditions, while HDR processing adjusts exposure during varied lighting environments.

Windshield Mount and Cable Routing

The main unit mounts to the windshield using an adjustable suction bracket positioned near the rearview mirror. A 20 ft rear camera cable connects the front unit to the rear lens and supports routing through interior trim. The system includes cable clips and a trim tool for installation along headliners and pillar panels. Power is supplied through an 12 ft cable connected to the vehicle outlet, and storage is handled through a removable microSD card.
