Honestly the gloves that come with sets like this are usually trash, like thin useless things that fall apart after one ride. These are actually padded and fit my son's hands properly, not just afterthoughts thrown in the box. Told my neighbor to grab a set for her kid and she said the gloves were the first thing she noticed too.

the ventilation channels on the top and chin area actually move air through the helmet. after a full afternoon of riding my son's hair wasn't completely soaked like it used to get. the airflow design on this is noticeably better than what we had.
My kid's last helmet had goggles that fogged up constantly, like dangerously bad fog where he couldn't see anything. These stay clear even when he's riding hard in the cold. The ventilation actually works and the goggle seal doesn't trap moisture inside. Way better than anything we had before.

I was worried about the chin guard being flimsy since I've bought full face helmets before where it felt like it could snap off. This one feels solid, the whole face section locks in firmly and doesn't flex when you press on it.
