Being able to unzip it and see what's actually inside is kind of satisfying. The foam pieces are small and fluffy, not big chunks, so when you lie on it it molds a bit without going completely flat. It has that memory foam feel but without being trapped in one position all night.
does exactly what it says it does
The zipper on the inside lets you pull out foam to make it softer or stuff more back in to firm it up. I've adjusted mine twice now to find the right height for side sleeping and it's made a noticeable difference in how my neck feels in the morning. Really glad that feature is actually practical and not just a gimmick.
finally a pillow that doesn't go flat
Comfortable from the first night. No adjustment period needed, which surprised me.
What I noticed pretty quickly is that the cover has a different texture than a regular pillowcase, kind of smooth and slightly cool to the touch. Even after lying on it for a while it doesn't build up heat the way solid foam does. The shredded fill inside also moves a little with you so it doesn't feel like you're sleeping on a block.
Used to have one of those solid foam pillows that was either too firm or too soft depending on the night. This one is different because you can actually open it up and remove some filling if it feels too thick, or add more back in. It sounds like a small thing but it makes a real difference for getting comfortable.
ok so the cooling thing is real and not just a label thing. one side of the cover feels genuinely cooler and it stays that way longer than I expected. combined with being able to dial in the firmness it's just a really well thought out pillow.
LOVE THIS PILLOW!
honestly just needed something that didn't sleep hot because every foam pillow I've ever had turned into a little furnace by 2am. this one actually stays cool, like noticeably cool, and I wake up way less than I used to. no heat trap, no sweaty neck, just comfortable.
