love it!!
What I noticed pretty quickly is that it actually maintains the temp you set it to. I set mine to a specific degree and it holds there consistently, whether I'm driving through the desert or it's cooler outside. The digital display makes it easy to see what's going on at a glance.
ok so i had a cheap thermoelectric cooler before this and it could never actually freeze anything, just kind of kept stuff slightly cool if you were lucky. this thing actually gets down to freezer temps which is what i needed for long hauls. night and day difference honestly.
I wasn't sure which size to go with but the 30qt has been plenty of space for everything I pack. Fits a good amount of food and drinks and still closes easily. Really well made overall and the cooling is consistent no matter how long I'm driving.
The compressor cooling means it actually freezes things properly, not just chills them. I can put meat in there frozen and it stays frozen the whole trip. That's what separates this from those cheaper thermoelectric ones that just don't have the power to do the job right.
Compressor coolers in general have a reputation for being heavy and awkward but this one is a manageable size and the handles make it easy enough to move between the truck and the campsite. I was moving it around solo without any real struggle.
The dual zone capability is something I didn't expect to appreciate as much as I do. I keep drinks on one side at fridge temp and have frozen food on the other side. Really useful for road trips where you want both without carrying two separate units.
this thing is actually so good for camping trips, everything stays cold the whole time 🧊!
Really happy with this. Keeps everything cold on long drives without any fuss.
Very pleased with this. It has held up well so far and the temperature control is simple and accurate. I use it every weekend and it has not let me down once.
